Welcome to Makarska
Guesthouse Aroma is a welcoming and comfortable place to stay in Makarska, combining spacious rooms, beautiful views, thoughtful amenities and genuinely warm hospitality. Built in 2016, the house sits in a slightly elevated position that rewards guests with open views towards the Adriatic and quieter evenings away from the busiest beachfront areas.
The rooms are bright, spacious and well equipped, and many feature private balconies with views towards the sea or the surrounding mountains - a particularly pleasant setting for a morning coffee or a quiet evening. Comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, effective air conditioning, reliable Wi-Fi and carefully maintained interiors make every stay feel effortless, while selected rooms also offer the added luxury of a bathtub.
The sea, beaches, restaurants, shops and the centre of Makarska all remain within comfortable walking distance, and free private parking on site makes Aroma an excellent choice for guests exploring the Dalmatian coast by car or motorcycle.
Our rooms
Six double rooms between 26 and 33 m² are available, each with air conditioning, a private bathroom, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Most rooms have a balcony, and you can choose between sea, city or Biokovo mountain views.

Deluxe Double Room
Our largest room at 33 m², with a balcony overlooking the sea and a bathroom with a bath. The seating area and private entrance make it ideal for longer stays.
Bakery and café bar in the building
A bakery and pastry shop on the ground floor make fresh local pastries an easy start to the day, and the café bar is an inviting place for a coffee, a pizza or a relaxed drink without going far. The front desk is open 24 hours, and the team is always ready to help with luggage, taxis, luggage storage, car hire or airport transfers.
